Vanilla RTX is a physically-based rendering (PBR) resource pack designed for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. It adds the texture maps and fog configurations needed to use Minecraft's ray tracing features while keeping the vanilla appearance intact. The pack covers every vanilla block, including creative-only and education edition blocks.

Installation
- Download the resource pack as a .zip file.
- Rename the file extension from .zip to .mcpack.
- Double-click the .mcpack file to import it into Minecraft.
- Activate the pack in your world or global resources.
- Join your world. Ray tracing should enable automatically, or you can enable it manually by pressing semicolon (;) or through Video Settings.
To switch between the heightmaps and normals sub-packs: After activating the pack, click on it in your resource list, click the gear icon that appears, and use the slider to select your preferred sub-pack. The normals mode is active by default.
For best results, activate this pack in global settings rather than world-specific settings to prevent resource loading issues. If you encounter problems switching between sub-packs, deactivate the pack from global settings, reactivate it, try switching sub-packs again, and restart the game.
Compatibility
Vanilla RTX requires Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.30 and later. The pack is available in different versions: Vanilla PBR Deferred Lighting and Vanilla PBR Lite are available for Bedrock 1.21, while earlier versions support 1.20, 1.19, and 1.18 on Windows 10 devices.
