Welcome to modstr. By accessing or using this site you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What we are

modstr is a free catalog of community-made content for Minecraft — mods, add-ons, shaders, resource packs, texture packs and maps for both Pocket Edition (Bedrock) and Java Edition. We provide descriptions, screenshots and download links; we do not host or develop the underlying content ourselves unless clearly stated.

modstr is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to use this site. If you are below that age, please use the site only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Acceptable use

When using modstr you agree not to:

Scrape, crawl or mirror the site in ways that harm its availability.
Attempt to bypass security, rate limits or authentication.
Upload or link to malware, illegal content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
Re-distribute paid Minecraft content, leaked game files, or content that violates Mojang's EULA.
Use the site to harass other users or to spread discriminatory content.

4. Third-party downloads

Many downloads linked from modstr are hosted by external services such as MediaFire, Mega, GitHub or the content authors' own sites. We do our best to vet and test what we list, but we cannot guarantee that third-party sites are free of ads, trackers, or issues introduced after we indexed them. Always run mods in a safe environment and keep backups of your worlds.

5. Intellectual property

Original editorial content, design, logo and code of modstr are © 2026 modstr and may not be reproduced without permission. Mod / pack titles, logos and in-game assets are the property of their respective authors. If you are a creator and want your work removed or credited differently, contact us at modstr46@gmail.com and we will act promptly.

6. Disclaimer of warranty

The site and all content are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Your use is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, modstr, its operators and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or any linked content — including corrupted save files, lost progress, data loss or hardware issues caused by third-party downloads.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
