AL’s Squids & Nautiluses Resource Pack updates the visual aesthetics of squids and nautiluses while maintaining a classic blocky Minecraft style. It introduces rare mob variants and renaming features inspired by Minecraft Dungeons, aiming to enrich the ocean biome.
Features
- Changes squids and glow squids with cleaner textures and new baby models from Minecraft Dungeons.
- Gives glow squids a 1 in 100 chance to spawn naturally as a giant Eponymous Squid.
- Lets you rename glow squids to Eponymous Squid or Nanaimoteuthis to get the giant variant manually.
- Reworks standard, zombie, and coral zombie nautiluses to look like real-world nautiluses.
- Renaming any nautilus to Ammonite switches its appearance into an accurate ammonite.
- Includes updated textures for nautilus armor pieces.
Installation
- Download the resource pack file.
- Open the Minecraft game.
- Navigate to the 'Options' menu and select 'Resource Packs.'
- Click on 'Open Resource Pack Folder' to reveal the directory.
- Drag and drop the downloaded file into the folder.
