Dynmap is a browser-accessible map plugin for Bukkit, Spigot, and Paper servers. It renders your worlds in a style similar to Google Maps, displaying real-time updates of player positions, chat messages, and server status. The plugin includes an integrated webserver for easy setup, or can be integrated into existing websites.

Installation

  1. Download the Dynmap plugin JAR file
  2. Place it in your server's plugins directory

Add-Ons and Integrations

Dynmap supports several optional add-on plugins for extended functionality, including dynmap-mobs for mob tracking, dynmap-residence, dynmap-WorldGuard, dynmap-Towny, and dynmap-Factions for region management, as well as integrations with Essentials, CommandBook, GriefPrevention, Citizens, and other popular plugins. Some mods like DeathTPPlus, xWarp, Vanish No Packet, and Ultimate Core include native Dynmap support without requiring a separate add-on.

Compatibility

This plugin is compatible with Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.20.1, and other versions supported by Bukkit, Spigot, and Paper server software. The plugin collects anonymous server metrics through bStats.org, including Java version, server mode, player count, and system information. This data collection can typically be disabled in the plugin configuration.
