The Various Starting Loot Data Pack alters the initial loot players receive to make it biome-specific. This pack is intended for players who want to start their adventure with resources that suit different playstyles.
Features
- The bonus chest loot is modified based on biome type.
- Enabling the "Bonus Chest" option is required for the data pack to function.
- The first mode is active by default and modifies the spawn bonus chest.
- Two modes are available:
- The second mode provides loot directly to new players’ inventories as a placeable chest. Enable this mode using /function various_starting_loot:settings.
- In this mode, the bonus chest feature is not necessary.
Installation
- Download the data pack file.
- Locate your Minecraft world save folder.
- Place the data pack file into the "datapacks" folder of the desired world.
- Launch Minecraft and enter your world.
- Use the command /reload to apply the changes.
