Tables & Chairs 2 is a data pack that adds fully functional, performance-optimized tables and chairs to Minecraft. Designed for flexibility and customization, it works well in homes, taverns, dining halls, and other builds that need practical seating and surface furniture.
Features
- Right-click chairs to sit on them, or shift right-click to rotate them.
- Add custom carpet layers to chairs by right-clicking with carpet; use shears to remove the carpet without destroying the chair.
- Double-tap left-click to destroy a chair.
- Shift left-click to move chairs around.
- Tables automatically connect when placed next to each other; shift-place to prevent connections.
- Hold left-click with a proper tool on table-tops to break them; left-click with any item to enter edit mode, letting you shift-place blocks and items on the table surface as if it were a regular block.
Installation
- Download the data pack file.
- Open your Minecraft world folder and navigate to the datapacks directory.
- Place the data pack file into the datapacks folder.
- Load or reload your world; the data pack will activate automatically.
- Run /reload in-game if the pack doesn't load on world startup.
Compatibility
This data pack is designed for Minecraft 1.21.11 and may not work on significantly older or newer versions without modification.
