Master Cutter is a data pack that expands the stonecutter with over 500 new recipes. It focuses on woodcutting efficiency, stone variant conversions, and a recycling system that lets you break down assembled blocks back into their base materials.
Features
- Process logs, wood blocks, stems, and hyphae (including stripped variants) into buttons, doors, fences, planks, pressure plates, signs, slabs, stairs, and trapdoors.
- Cut bamboo blocks into bamboo planks, mosaic variants, and standard wood derivatives like doors and trapdoors.
- Convert plank variants into individual wood components such as buttons, fences, slabs, stairs, and trapdoors.
- Cut stone and deepslate directly into cobbled forms and their derivative blocks; convert mossy and polished variants back to standard counterparts.
- Process copper blocks (all oxidation states) into doors and trapdoors at improved rates.
- Recycle assembled blocks—stairs, doors, trapdoors, and other derivatives—back into full blocks, slabs, and other components.
- Deconstruct special blocks like amethyst, prismarine, quartz, sandstone, and bricks into their raw materials; break down iron items (buckets, minecarts, hoppers, cauldrons) into ingots and nuggets.
Installation
- Download the data pack file.
- Open your world's data packs folder or navigate to the data packs directory.
- Place the downloaded file into the data packs folder.
- In-game, run the command /reload or restart your world to activate the pack.
- Verify installation by opening a stonecutter and checking for the new recipes.
Compatibility
Master Cutter supports Minecraft 1.20.1 and 1.21. Some recipes, particularly copper trapdoor outputs and copper grate deconstruction, are exclusive to version 1.21 and later.
